About VisaLedger
VisaLedger is an independent reference site in the U.S. immigration and visa fees space. Current USCIS filing fees and U.S. visa application fees, in plain dollars.
What we do
We collect the U.S. immigration fee figures that government agencies publish — but bury in PDFs and scatter across dozens of pages — and present them in plain dollars: current USCIS filing fees for common forms (paper vs online, with biometric and H.R. 1 surcharges), State Department nonimmigrant visa (MRV) application fees, and a calculator that totals them. Every figure is attributed and date-stamped.
How we work
Our fee pages are generated from a structured dataset that we transcribe by hand from official sources — the USCIS Fee Schedule (Form G-1055), individual USCIS form pages, and travel.state.gov — and cross-check before publishing. See our methodology for sources, verification, update cadence and known limitations.
Important: we are not a law firm
VisaLedger is not a law firm and is not affiliated with USCIS, the U.S. Department of State, or any U.S. government agency. We provide general information only — not legal advice. Immigration fees and rules change; always confirm the current fee on the official government page before filing, and consult a licensed immigration attorney for advice. See our disclaimer.
